Amen to that. The poeple working FOR celebrities sometimes have more money than they do. And she is right up there with MC Hammer if she doesn't behave herself.

They'll have to do a follow up series for these two called 'REALITY HITS' when their careers dry up, their cash is gone and the house is repossessed. It would be my all time dream to have her working as a cashier at the dreaded Home Depot!!

What an ass!! You know the only reason Nick married her was cause she's a hot little piece. Clearly it wasn't for her brains or her ability (outside the bedroom of course).

I don't think that she is stupid.. nor that she is broke.. I read somewhere about how much money she rakes in posters/calendars/appearances/new sitcom she's supposed to be on/MTV NW show PLUS, much more.. she's no dope.. You have to remember.. she was this little sheltered girl.. correct me if I'm wrong but she is only like 22, no? she wasn't like us, in school watching TV, reading Teen Bop getting all the latest gossip or watching TV all the time where she would be able to understand alot of the things that she is getting crucified for..

You also have to remember that they videotape them 24/7 and yet only show what? 30-60 minutes of footage? what are they going to show? her being 'smart' or her dumb moments? that's what sells and draws us in to watch.. I too have my moments when I say stupid crap and am like 'what was I thinking' only she's smart enough to cash in on it.. cha-ching!

Yes but in relation to what she spends, it is a little warped. When you go into debt with a record label, like she did. you go into massive DEBT it is insane. The weird thing is I was watching a show on mtv something and they she said that her father was the one who suggested the camping trip because he knew they would get good footage from it. Well ain;t that a trip, her own father, well even if she is not capitalizing then he is.

ps - she turned 23 on the last season i think.

And doesn't he seem to be preoccupied with sex. Anybody catch the egyptian sheet comment?

I totally agree with you on the money thing.. I thought they didn't have alot of cash b/c of how Nick was always on Jessica about her spending.. but after reading the article of how much she is supposed to or did rake in last year, I was like NO WAY.. she is no dummie! Lol

They are FAR from broke. They signed 2 of the most lucrative record deals in the business, and they have VERY smart business people behind them.

IMO - anyone that manages to get a dopey show like this on MTV - for two seasons - which is their primary target for marketing is no dummie!

Like you said, we all have our 'what was I thinking' moments, we just don't have anyone taping them.

I get a kick out of her but seriously, whether she has it or not she needs to cut back on her spending! She seems to put no thought into it at all, which can lead to enormous debt. Granted she's on top right now but who knows what the future holds. JMO.

On another note, I wonder what the thread count is on $1400 sheets
