Newlyweds & Brides: Simply Elegant (flowers) (UPDATED W/ Pics)

anyone else use simply elegant for flowers? how did it turn out?

do u have cp and bo-k pics to share from your wedding or your samples?

i saw my cp yesterday and it was ok but not fabulous. we changed around a few things (i.e. roses, colors) but i'm a little bit concerned.

i'll post pics when i get home tonight.

tia!

these are my samples. i'm totally changing the rose colors in both the bo-k and centerpieces. i'm using 2 two-tone pink roses instead of the white, pale pink, and 2 tone pink & white (shone in cp pic). i'm also using bigger and more roses in my cp.

the bo-k is the size of my bm's (18 roses), mine will be 30, and moh 24.

like i said i'm not thrilled but hopefully the color changes /size changes/ and # of rose changes will help.

Did you already book w/them? If you're not thrilled - why would you continue w/them? What's the main reason you chose them?

yes they are booked (and it's 6 weeks till the wedding). i booked them b/c they were recommended by fox hollow and b/c they are 5 minutes from my job. i know i should have looked around more but back then i had no ideathat there was such a big difference between florists...

if they are one of the house florists of your catering hall you should speak to your hall and tell the you are unhappy,I know someone who used the house florist of her hall and she was very unhappy and the hall stepped in and really went to bat for her and threw in extras at her reception so you should speak to your hall.

If you're not happy, it's not too late to look at Laurie from LA blossom. I booked her 3 weeks before my wedding.

I used nicole roses (2 tone red and white). but, you can kind of get a feel for the way it will look with ALL 2 tone roses together

Here are some pics. She did my centerpieces. Another florist did my bouquets because he was near the ceremony.
