Newlyweds that did votive placecards...

What kind of vellum did you get and where did you get it? Does it matter if I get Cream or White? I'm looking at paperandmore.com and I'm not sure what weight to get. Any suggestions? TIA!!!!

I got white vellum but I'm sure cream would look nice too -- it would probably give the votives an even warmer look.

I just looked at the package and there's no weight on it. It just says translucent vellum and I got it at Staples. It's Strathmore brand.

I absolutely love how the votive place cards look!! But, I am a little confused.....do guests take it to there table with them, blow them out, is it risky, and how long does it take to get the printing on the votive? Can some one please help me?
