I LOVE LOVE LOVE Newport! Its my favorite place everrrrrrr! I wanted to get married there but everyone said no

Anyway..... Try The Viking Hotel Its right in the heart of the town and most everything is walk-able from there.

Also try
GONEWPORT.COM for other suggestions on where to stay, what to do, where to eat and also to see if there are any festivals going on the weekend you are there.

Make sure you visit the mansions especially my all time favorite wedding location Belcourt Castle

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!

I want to go here the weekend of Oct 3rd.. I heard some good things about the bed and breakfasts. Some names I got were the Newport Blues Inn, Admiral Fitzroy Inn, and the Yankee Peddler Inn. HTH!!

I LOVE Newport!!! FH and I stayed in the Bed and Breakfast called Adele Turner Inn and it was nice. My friend just went and stayed in the Hydranga house and LOVED it!!

Have fun!

We just got back from Newport (second time there), and we stayed at the Mill Street Inn. It has a loft feel, and it is about 2 blocks from downtown. I would recommend it. We stayed at the Hotel Viking last time, and we absolutely loved it, although it is a little pricy. If you have questions about what to do there or anyting fm me.

LOVE newport. last time we stayed there we stayed at a b&b called the francis malbone house and it was really nice. FH's aunt and uncle live in a little beach town not far from there though so we normally stay with them
