so how does one have a brunch and pay for some but not all? the hotel offers vouchers to give to the guests (paid already of course) but what happens when other people want to join for bfast?

my dad wants only wants to pay for 6 of us (my side of the family) and hes wondering about FH's side b/c they most likely are going to join us too.

My rents are paying for hall and FH's are doing the RD so my dad was saying he doesn't want to hear any comments being made as to why they have to pay for the RD and he's not paying for the brunch.

I don't like 'asking' anyone to pay for anything.

Extend and invite to 'join you' for brunch. Just a 'we'll be here eating, join us if you want thing'. Smart people will figure it out.

Just tell the place to give seperate checks out.
