I spoke to John and he finally agreed that I could have a bbq at our house. I live in Queens, which might be a nice in-between for some of the Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island ladies.
Would you want to come to my house? It could be a GTG/birthday party for the Sept. ladies (myself included!)

I'm in for both....Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hollie....yeaaaaaaaaaa BK. That is so great of you guys to open up your homes.
I love the BBQ & Halloween party idea. I also think after the holidays we should coordinate a huge bachelorette party in the city. How cool would that be?! We could all chip in for a huge limo or bus or something & just hit the town.
Hollie, what date would work for you? Let's then firm up who can bring what, etc.

I second this. it would be impossible for us to get to a GTG in LI on a work day- we'd be going towards the high traffic and would never get there.
really, a weekend day would be best. Also, this one should be the first 06 BRIDAL SHOWER!!!!
I am more than willing to make some food to contribute. it should definitely be pot luck.
I agree. I live in Staten Island.. it would be impossible for me to do it on a weekday!

9/17 is out for me....have a shower in SI, unless I went on the way back from it, which wouldn't be until 4 or 5pm!!

I think that most people would like this GTG to be more conversation conducive. I don't think a GTG in the city would lend to that.
