I think that most people would like this GTG to be more conversation conducive. I don't think a GTG in the city would lend to that.

I spoke to John and he finally agreed that I could have a bbq at our house. I live in Queens, which might be a nice in-between for some of the Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island ladies.
Would you want to come to my house? It could be a GTG/birthday party for the Sept. ladies (myself included!)
Woohoo! I'm a September girl! PLUS, Hollie leaves near me so I don't even have to travel far. Yay for me.

sept 17th is our precana day (with preshy too ) and sept 24th is our housewarming party so those days dont work for me... urrr and finally on a weekend anyone who wants to drive to CT or who is in CT is welcome to the houswarming party, people will be in and out all day!

Technically, I'm halfway between 110 and 111, I'm right at the beginning of the Northern State by 347 (Vets Hwy). But I'm closer to 110 than 111!!!
I'm about 10 min east of Huntington Townhouse and about 10 min west of the Watermill.

That's because that GTG was small. The last GTG we had on LI had 20 people. Unfortunately, most of us were only able to talk to those next to us. Having it at someone's house allows for more conversation and an easier time to mingle, as we don't have to worry about other people being served food, etc.
