Next Invite Question...how many?

Ok I just counted the all our guests and between couples and families we need exactly 148 invitations. How many extra do you think I should purchase?

20, to be safe

You can use an extra anyway for your album... and any extras can just be stored. Better to be safe than sorry

I think u may need more than 20 extras. If u have a lot of people rsvp saying they can't make it, you'll have to go to your B-list. Right?

I needed 126 and ordered an even 150 so I'd agree with 20 . For reference, we've already used 10 of the 'extras' for mistakes, add-ons, etc.

I think we are going to order 20-25 extra.... just to be safe

yeah atleast 25 extra..

I am about to order my invites in the next few days..

yup it's invites time for May Brides.. pretty soon it will be RSVP drama

I think you'll be safe in the 20 - 25 range. I needed 218 invites but ordered 240. You rather order a few more now because it will cost ALOT more to order extras later.

We actually don't have a B list...we just put everyone on the A list. We're inviting about 100 over our minimum, so I think we'll be ok (hopefully).

I'm definitely good for mistakes lol...in that case I may just order double what I need

I am need 129 invites. I am getting 150.
For B list, mistakes, add on's and also keepsake purposes, like scrapbooking.

Are you addressing them yourself??
I had 20 extra and messed up on the printer so I actually RAN OUT of envelopes and in the end..don't even have an extra wedding invitation for MYSELF to save in our scrapbook.
Learn from my mistake!!

You also might get enough cancellations where you'll want to invite an extra person or two. OR your parents might remember someone or other that they forgot to tell you about. BOTH of my parents did that to me at the last minute.

Order 25-30 extra for safety sake.
