WOW!!! That sounds like ALOT for roses!! I was quoted 650-700 for personals from my first place and it was a mix of roses, callas and berrys. I was getting bridal BoK, 6 BM BoKs, 6 Bouts, 5 mother/grandmother corsages, 4 dad/grandfather bouts and a throw away BoK....

Malkmes Florist is Port Jeff. I dont think my second quote, from Verbena Designs, was even that much and it also included orchids and gerber daisys, ill know for sure later this week since shes sending me the quote in writing.

yah i just couldnt believe the prices... the first 850 was with 2 altar pieces but the place treated me like poopy doopy and basically they want to hold out for a bigger wedding.

Definitely shop around, Im not sure who you went to yet but also try Flower Michele and Pedestals. I have an appt with James Cress tomorrow so Ill let you know how much they are.

You should try to also meet with Burtons and Flower Michelle to compare prices if you are on a budget.

LOVE VERBENA!!!! AND LA BLOSSOM is my 2nd FAV!!!

Also, my MOH used Royalty limos and they were on point!

I LIKE M&V LIMO - WE USE THEM ALOT FOR VINEYARD TRIPS AND TRIPS TO NYC. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WORKS THERE SO WE ARE GETTING A GOOD PRICE. AND FYI - TRY NOT TO TELL THEM ITS FOR A WEDDING - THEY WILL ALWAYS INCREASE THE PRICE AS SOON AS THEY HEAR THE WORD WEDDING.

AS FOR FLOWERS I WENT TO JAMES CRESS WHICH IS EXPENSIVE 3800 FOR MIXED 14 CP HIGH/LOW ALL ROSES, 1 MOH, 7 BRIDESMAIDS, THE ARCHWAY AT THE VYC WERE WE ARE GETTING MARRIED, THE BOUTS FOR THE GUYS AND MOM'S AND GRANDMAS FLOWERS. THEY ALSO DO OTHER NICE TOUCHES THOUGE SUCH AS FLOWERS FOR THE HOUSE FOR YOUR 'GETTING READY PICS' AND FRESH CUT FLOWERS FOR THE FOOD TRAYS AT THE FACILITY. THEY SPENT OVER 2 HOURS DISCUSSING EVERYTHING AND TEACHING ME ALL ABOUT WEDDING FLOWERES.

FLOWERS BY BURTON - WHICH WAS A 15 MIN CONSULTATION INCLUDES ALL THE GIRLS, GUYS AND CP AND IS 2800. BIG DIFFERENCE. I HAVE 2 FRIENDS THAT USED THEM AND LOVED THEM I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I CAN GET PAST THE SERVICE.

I made with Vito and I loved him!!!

I booked pedestals .. and camelot limos in new hyde park (met with Joe).. he is so honest & not pushy at all. rates are very reasonable
