Next Question

I had planned on having one table for the Bridal Party with their husband/ wife etc...Just got off the phone with my parents and they thought my sister and BIL would be sitting with them. How are the rest of you seating your BP?

we did not have a sep table just for bridal party. We tried to keep them up close by us at their respective 'family' tables or groups of friends.

Re: Next Question

i am having my BP sit where they would normally sit if they weren't in the BP - friends with friends, family with their family etc

IMO i think this makes it more enjoyable for the BP - to be with their friends and families instead of with the other members of the BP that they may not know that well

i have been in about 5 weddings and i always appreciated being able to with my family or friends!

i am putting my BP with the rest of the BP at their own tables. my family table will consist of all aunts and uncles - my bro & sis will be w/ the bp.

Re: Next Question

My BP is spread throughout. Some of them are together and some are with other friends/family.

They stayed with their spouse. Since our BP were friends they sat at the table for friends.

same for us as well, but a lot of them did sit at the same tables since they are all good friends with each other. Siblings were in the BP, but they sayt with cousins/family (some who were also in the BP).

Re: Next Question

I am not seating my bridal party together. They really aren't friends with each other and they would have a better time sitting with their friends.

Re: Next Question

I'm putting each BP (his and mine) together at their own tables. Wach of those tables will have one couple that is not in the BP, but by chance they only people they know are in the BP.

Re: Next Question

We had our BP sit with their family/friends. Since we had people from childhood, family, college, and post-college in our BP, we didn't want to force them to sit together. They all sat where they would have normally (so, with their family or the group of friends that they're part of)...It made sense for us to do it that way.

They are sitting together, w/ their guests. They are all good friends

Re: Next Question

we kind of had 3 BP tables...his siblings [all members of the party] at one table with dates and the closest cousins to their age, my BP was split up at 2 tables with my closest friends. my only adult cousin was in the bridal party.
originally, i had 2 perfect tables planned, but some people went from couples to solo and it changed the dynamics completely. non-relative GM were seated with friends they already knew.

We're doing this too!

I did not have a separate table for the BP. They sat with their SO and any of their friends that might have been there.

Re: Next Question

My MOH is my SIL and she and my brother are sitting with my parents.

My two BM are sitting together b/c they're friends and I placed a few cousins at that table.
