Does anyone know of a nice family style restaturant in LI that doesnt require a pre-fixe menu for groups over 10? FH family is coming in town and would like to host a 'family get-together' dinner. I love Carmines in Times Square but it would be such a hassel trying to get into and out of the city. Any ideas in Nassau or Queens?

my family always eats at Steve's Piccola Bussola in Syosset. their food is great and they have round tables for large groups which we like.

Matteo's!! I've only been to the bellmore location, we even had our e-party there, but they have a ton of locations! Delicious food and great service!

La Famiglia in smithtown and chow baby in commack....but my friend said the other day that theyre closed now cause they had a fire.... but they have another location on LI i'm sure. HTH!
