Nice Hotels on the North Fork of LI
Does anyone have any recommendations for nice hotels on or near the north fork of LI? I am thinking of getting married at Raphael vineyards and most guests will stay the weekend. Thanks in advance!Nicole

We are going out there for my bachelorette party next weekend. We are staying at Motel on the Bay North Fork MotelsIt looks really nice, its right on the water in Jamesport, in the middle of the vineyards, but most of the motels down there have a 2 night minimum, but maybe you can work something out with them.

We are getting married at the Vineyard Caterers... we are using the Hampton Inn @ Brookhaven. They provide transportation for all guests staying there!

We are using the Best Western East End in Riverhead (the one by the outlets). They provide a shuttle as well. I had a tough time finding a place that could hold all my guests and this was my compromise.

I am getting married at the vineyard caterers and they told me there are two new hotels opening up this spring. One is the holiday inn and it is at the traffic circle on 25a

Re: Nice Hotels on the North Fork of LI
The holiday inn is being built by the same man that owns the Best Western. When I was looking into hotels near the vineyard I visited the Best Western and they told me that they were breaking ground in the spring and could not yet tell me when the hotel would be open... there for we could not reserve rooms. The people at the Hampton Inn Brookhaven were very nice and the hotel was not even comparable to the other hotels. Plus they will provide transportation for my guest to the Vineyard and breakfast the next morning.

Wanted to bump this and see if anyone else had suggestions of nice but fairly inexpensive hotels in or near Greenport. I looked at the Harborfront, but it is too expensive and the Greenporter is booked. Thanks in advance!
