Nice Ideas

Since i got great ideas from you girls i wanted to give you some of the different things im doing at my wedding (some i might have gotten here dont remember but still wanted to share)

On a table on the wy into the reception room im going to have old time pictures of mine & FH parents at their wedding. Then at a seperate smaller table im going to have a few pictures of our father who are deceased with a nice (funny) poem. FH & I have a 2 year old daughter so i was going to have her as she goes down the aisle give her grandmothers roses.....

Just some ideas

Just want to make sure i understand this correctly, ur having a smaller table in the RH ballroom in honor of ur dad?

Thats a really nice idea and i'm looking for more ways to honor my dad and FH's dad but i can't do a montage... i won't be able to make it through the wedding if i have it and it's been... wow 14 yrs already.

These are some really nice ideas. I love the idea with the pics of your parents from their wedding.

yes his dad has been gone 7 years mine 5 years so im going to have a table with pictures & a funny poem - funny though i dont want people crying especially me because it feels like yesterday that he passed!! Good luck hope i inspired something for you to do at your wedding!! HTH

To give you an idea, my friend's father passed away 8 years ago and when her sister was married her 'something blue' was a blue shirt of her fathers that they cut up into pieces and twisted those pieces to look like flowers and put it in her bo-q. It was beautiful.
