Well I'm not engaged yet, but ready and waiting (he has plans and wants it to be a surprise, which i of course do not mind) but I have my eyes set on 08 and am around and looking. It's just nice to see everyone starting to post over here since this is most likely the year that I will be chosing. Gotta give those other boards a run for their money hehe!!! I'm chrissy btw.

Thanks girls..pleasure to meet you guys too!!!! I'm hoping sooner than later myself, but I will keep waiting patiently hehe :) My mom although is BEYOND ready to start planning so he said it was ok if we started looking so much as he didn't hear a word about rushing the coming of the ring (i also told him i ONLY want my Dad to know cause I wanna be the one to run home and tell my Mom) So we're actually gonna start going to a few bridal shows and looking around, just to get a few ideas!!!

2008 is less than 1 1/2 years away! I got engaged in July 2004 and will be getting married this December. Time flies - - so enjoy every second. Most importantly is to book your hall and ceremony site if needed. As far as everything else -- don't rush too much!!! Shop around and search the boards for ideas and ways to save money!!!! Good Luck Girls!!!!!!!
