Nicest Thank You We've Ever Gotten:
We received our TY card today from Melissa (MJDoc12) and it was -hands down- the nicest TY we've ever gotten!! It was so thoughtful and personal. Not only were the words SO kind and heartfelt but she even took the time to print out two pictures from the wedding of Vinny and I to mail along with the invitation.
It's things like this that separate what you'll always remember from the 'norm' which you just read and forget about. It makes you really feel how much a couple enjoyed having you as a guest and reminds you why people have weddings in the first place.
Maybe it's because Aunt Flo is coming to town and I'm extra emotional but the TY almost brought me to tears and it was so personal that the first thing Vin said when I walked through the door was 'OMG you have to see what an amazing TY we got from my Papaya and Pete!' (he calls her his Papaya lol)...
I have to say that out of all the things I've gotten from this site-- the friends I have made from here have to be the best and the most rewarding. They are there for me and I have the honor of being the one they call/email/FM/lean on when they need a friend in return.
OK, had to share that-- I know we get so wrapped up in petal cones and HMs lol but this is the kind of thing that brings you back to reality and back to what really matters![]()
