Nicest Thing FH ever did on Valentines Day...

Hey ladies...so i thought I would start a post with what was your best Valentines Day with FH and why???

Mine was our first Valentines day. FH took me out to dinner to Bobby Van's in Manhattan. We then spent the night at the Marriott (we were going out for 7 months) and he spread 7 dozen rose petals around the room with candles, chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Moet. It was sooooo nice!!!!!!!

Anyone have some great memories????

I can't remember - FH is ALWAYS romantic... He does not lack in that dept at all! I love him.

FH and I aren't big into Vday! My best Vdays is when we order in and watch a movie together. Like tonight!

I agree with you. We usually cook a big dinner, and snuggle on the couch. I usually get flowers and a nice card also.

My fh is a marine and he was not here for Valentine's day for two years. One year he had a dozen long stem roses sent to me (he ordered them all the way in Iraq)
and the second time he called my mom and had her buy one of those huge blow up teddy bears that is holding a heart saying I love you. then they attached a note to me from him - it was soooooo sweet!

Mine isnt the romantic type...unfortunately

But he did call the security guard in my builiding this morning to find out what floor i worked on! i thought that was adoreable! (to send flowers)

The first year we were together (I think this is pattern here) he left me roses every place I went to. He left them on my car, and at work, and at my friends house....it was adorable!! But actually, he did good this year. I am not a huge valentine's day person...just another day...but he came home yesterday with a fish he named heart, and an oil painting of a picture of my dog (he just passed away recently)....he is so good!!

P.S....my friend recently met someone and they have been dating about 1 month, and she called me yesterday CRYING that he sent her roses to her work on the WRONG DAY!! I told her she was being rediculous, maybe he was trying to surprise her....and it turned out to be the florist's mistake..haha...I am the total opposite of her!!

that was the best!!! but i should get some credit for getting soaked in the rain and re attaching everything that blew off! lol

hmm i guess my favorite was last year - he usually cooks for my but last year he surprised me with LOBSTER - it was very yummy!

Same here. Our anniversary is in Jan., and since we always buy each other nice presents for that we try just keep V-day simple, but enjoy the day and each other. The past few year FH has been cooking dinner since he gets homes earlier than me, which is nice

we had no plans and we were both on edge a lil...like what should we do all of that...so we decided to wing it..and when i came to get him ( he didnt have his own car) he goes can you just come inside real quick...and im like *FINE LET ME PARK* all attitude like...and when I came in he had a candelit dinner waiting and our song (not wedding) playin. he had a cd made up of all love songs to listen to while we ate...

i <3 him...

this year...we are doin nothing..haha save the $$

dont feel bad about today though - if we even get to celebrate we are ordering some chinese/japanese - we have plenty of valentine's to splurge!!!

OUr anniversary is actually February 17th lol, not to mention his birthday is february 5th and my birthday is the 15th lol

aww thanks...i dont feel bad i just felt stupid when everyone was askin me at work so what are you and ur fiance doin..im like um...nothin? haha
