Nicole D'Angio

Has anyone worked with or booked Nicole D'Angio for hair? I'm looking for someone in suffolk. Also, is she expensive? I dont care how much my hair costs, but want to be considerate of my bridesmaids.

I just booked with her. She is still 250 for the bride, but I also paid 150 for the trial. And drove over an hour to get to her!! It was totally worth it. She is tops. I think its kind of expensive for the bms, like 125 for an up-do, but she takes her time with people. I really like her. There are some pics in my album under 'trial #2' . . . not that their great, but she has a real gift of keeping your hair looking like hair, pretty and natural.

I am having my regular hairstylist do mine - they do bridal parties there too

Its Kenneth Richards salon in Wading River
its not too far from giorgios
they do makeup there too
Johanna is the owner and has been doing my hair for over 10 years, I won't go anywhere else

my hair is costing $100
not sure if they come to u or if u have to just go to the salon though- I am going to th salon...

Crashing...I had a weird experience with Nicole D'Angio. I heard fantastic things about her and loved all her hair artistry. But when I contacted her she never got back to me. The second time I contacted her she got back to me and said something like 'Well so-and-so is having her hair done at ____ time and I guess I can fit you in right after that' and I got really turned off. I went with someone else. I hear that she gets like that sometimes-overwhelmed with her schedule or whatever? Not sure but it made me very nervous, I believe that you should feel confident in your vendors. Just an FYI, sorry for the bad review

No, my trial was 3 weeks ago. She definitely takes her time getting back to you over email, a pet peeve of mine, but she seems to be a total perfectionist and prides herself in her scheduling. I do wish she were more responsive. I *think* she is only booking one bride a day now and that is the reason for her three person minimum, to make it worth her while. I had a weird vibe from her at first too, but after meeing her and after my trial, I feel very confident. HTH - fm me if you have other questions!!
