So my FH and I are going to be staying at the same hotel as our guests the night of the wedding and then we are staying at the Marriott near the Newark, NJ airport the night after because our flight leaves really early Sunday morning. Here is my question...
Should we
1) Just order room service and relax or
2) Should I surprise FH and have a car service pick us up and bring us into Manhattan for dinner then bring us back to the hotel......

you are going to be so tired from the wedding and you'll have plenty of time to get dressed and go out during your HM...i say get the room service lay in bed and watch TV!!!!

well dh and i did eat dinner in manhattan the night after our wedding. But i will say that we lounged in bed all day before going to dinner. Plus we stayed at a hotel in manhattan and his friend and gf met us in front of our hotel and we drove just a few blocks down to go eat. So it wasnt bad since we didnt have to go far and we had a great time at dinner. We got back to the room later on that night and lounged even more and watched movies
but wait your flight would be the next morning? not sure if i'd do it then, unless you do an early dinner. We didnt have to go anywhere the following day since we left on our hm 5 days after the wedding and didnt have to check out of the hotel until noon on monday.
Plus from NJ to the city it can be a pain, you can hit traffic and the whole process can take alot longer
