Night of Dilemma....Advice Please

My BP got us a fantastic, creative engagement gift: A car will be picking us up at the end of the reception and taking us to an undisclosed, luxury suite for the night of our wedding. I love this idea as it takes the burden of planning off of me and FH.
HOWEVER, we really want to leave for our HM the next day. FH is almost adamant about it...and he's usually not opinionated at all, so I want to indulge him when he is. The only flights we can get out of NY are in the morning (11am being the latest). Since I'm having a night wedding I won't get to the beautiful wedding suite until 1:30-2am and we can't just leave there at 8am to head for the airport. That would be a waste of a wonderful room, which is the gift.
Any ideas for making this work? I've even considered other HM locations just to accommodate this gift into our plans.

Did you check all the local airports for other flights?

IMHO ... i don't think it's a waste to go there and just stay for a few hours and then leave for your HM ... hotel checkout is usually around 11am or earlier anyways ... just enjoy it ... don't worry so much about it ... and get like an 11 flight :)

I would try to convince your fh to leave a day later, if you can. It would be nice to take a day to relax, especially if its a nice suite!

Yes....Newark, JFK, Laguardia, ISP...All of them. And, we are trying to use FH's Delta Sky Miles, so I've even considered not going with Delta, just to have the best of both......

exactly, checkout time are usually around then, so I wouldn't worry.

Where are you trying to fly to?
