Night of Hotel

OK.. I know this is going to be kinda long but please bare with me!

FH and I plan on blocking off room down the road from RH. We plan on staying there that night and are blocking rooms so that our OOT guests and anyone that would like to spend the night out will be able to do so with ease. I would like to see if they will keep the downstairs bar open. FH wants to get a hospitality room and stock it ourselves for our guests to hang out in after the wedding. He does not seem to understand that we are going to be exhausted after the wedding and that I am not going to want to stock the room and then clean up the 'hospitality'room. His cousin had a hospitality room and it was great--- we were all OOT guests and were staying in the hotel for 2-3 days. It made sense then. IT just doesn't make sense to me for a 1 night affair! Any suggestions or opinions?

I'd go with seeing if they'll keep the bar open. No muss, no fuss.

I was in a wedding at Villa's not to long ago and most people went next door to Irish Tyme's. Before heading to the hotel to crash. I think the hospitality room is a nice idea but I agree with you, who wants to clean on their wedding night???????

If you can get the hotel bar to stay open later I would go that route or for-go the arranged after party all together. If people want to still party after a wedding they always find a way too, don't stress.....

Definitely convince your FH a bar is the way to go!

I agree with you, but then again, my bedtime averages around 10pm!! At some point, the wedding has to be over, and not roll into a 24-hour, all-weekend-long fest!

I'm having the bar at our hotel stay open later after the wedding. But no hospitality suite.....I don't want to be responsible for clean up.

We are staying at the same hotel as our guests and we are just having the bar stay open later for us to hang out with our guest and do some more partying. I think that is the best way to go, you don't want to have to clean up anything after having the wedding, plus more partying, your just going to want to crash
