should we stay at the hotel where we have a room block- the suite there is nothing special
but it's like 2 minutes away from our RH I doubt we will have many OOT guests and there won't be a bar or anything to hang out in later, which is OK bc we are doing the extra hour for our wedding

should we go all out and a get nice room somewhere else, like maybe NYC, with a spa and some pampering?
wedding is fri night...leaving Sunday morning for our HM so we would stay in hotel friday and sat night
FBIL suggested we stay at the W in NYC, get massages and have a nice dinner in NYC sat night

I'm staying in the same hotel as my guests. However, that is because we are hosting a brunch the next morning for all the guests that stay over. Plus my hotel has a bar and we want to continue to party that night.

My mind is totally in the gutter - after reading the subject, I thought this was about something else!!!
Either option is great - and since you guys have a day or two before the honeymoon, I'd just say make sure you're all packed for that so that you don't need to stress about it and then can enjoy your night and get massages, etc :)

I think you should stay somewhere nice. We're staying at the Inn at Fox Hollow. We planned to do that before we later decided to block our rooms there. We want our wedding night to be special
