Nightmares?

Nightmares?

Does your pet have nightmares?

Pastina had one today. She was sleeping in her crate and then screamed and jumped up and hit the crate. I ran over right away and let her out.

I remember my childhood dog would have nightmares every now and then...

(side bar: but this is one of the reason I have ALWAYS believed that animals DO have emotions- despite the old theory that they didn't)

yes. lukin has them more often than the others.

Bama growls in his sleep a lot! But he's never jumped out of his sleep like he's having a nightmare.

Chewie barks in his sleep but under his breath when he has nightmares.. It's very weird.

Murphy sleeps right next to me and I would have to say he dreams every night and alot of the times he growls and barks in his sleep.

I know Tiger dreams, because he will whimper when he sleeps sometimes.
I always wonder what they dream???

Peanut has this quiet bark that she does in her sleep. I like to think they are dreams and she is playing with her friends
