Nighttime Ceremony

Weather permitted our ceremony will be outside in October at 8PM - I am assuming it will definitely be dark by then. I am trying to think of ideas of what the guests should do after we kiss and walk up the aisle. Bubbles will not work at night. Do you think I could use sparklers for this?

Any ideas or suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Thanks ladies. I think that might be the only nighttime option. I will have to reach out to Fox Hollow and find out if that is allowed.

I am getting married at Fox Hollow at 8pm in April so I understand your concern. I was hoping to do sparklers but I haven't checked with Fox Hollow yet. I do know that they are OK with having candles in the centerpieces so I don't think it would be a real concern.

I emailed them yesterday, I will let you know what they say. FH is pretty excited about sparklers, so I hope they say it is ok.

I think it would be awesome if everyone held a candle and had something else to throw for fun! It would light everything up!

And Fox Hollow said no to sparklers. They have a 'sparkler policy'. So there is the glow stick option and back to the drawing board to think of others.

I better call or email my venue, I've been wanting to do sparklers too. That sucks!

Ugh that sucks! But I can see why they'd say no.. I could just see my grandma with her shaky hands lighting someone on fire. You could do those ribbon wands with the bells on the end if you wanted. Or rose petals in pink or yellow or white so they'll still be seen.

Wow, didn't think a no sparkler policy would be a thing. That is disappointing. I did find this site tho I don't know how many word work in the dark. The photographer should be using a flash so maybe more will show than we think. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/the-knot/12-creative-exit-toss-ide_b_3862330.html
