Okay, I was just about to put them on shutterfly and they only accept JPEG pics, and mine were scanned as BMP. Can I convert them?

you should be able to use 'save as' in most programs and just change them to a jpeg...

The scanner software is Photobase, and they don't even have a 'file' menu to pull down to do a save as. I found save as somewhere else, but it automatically gives me a bmp extension.
