Re: NIHA: We miss you

Hi ladies! I'm always here, just not able to post as much. Lyla is doing great, she's now 11 weeks old, 11.5 pounds, and 23 inches! I can't believe she's almost double her birth weight, especially after all the worrying at the begininng!! She's already in size 2 diapers and starting to fit into some 3-6 month clothes! I can't believe how fast she's growing!

She 'talks', laughs and smiles a lot. I'm still learning about how to get her to sleep better, but things are much better these days. She's a real sweetie, and I love to go out and show her off We are starting a mommy and me class in a couple of weeks.

I've had a pretty bad cold for the last week, and the Dr. delayed her shots again, b/c he said she might get sick. She's seems alright so far, but I heard her cough several times the last 2 days. I'm going to call them today. Any moms want to share if your babies got colds this young?

My sister is in town, she has twin girls that are 3 months old, so we are having fun with all the girls.

Hope all the preggos are feeling good and mommies and kids are enjoying the last of the summer!

Glad to hear that both of you are doing well. Don't dissappear on us now. Drop in every now and then even if it's just to say hi.

Re: NIHA: We miss you

I'm not going back to work PT either. I would prefer to have a nanny come in, but even to pay for that for 3 days a week and then pay for commuting and other expenses doesn't pay off that well. I know a PT job in my field will be hard to come by, but that's what I'm doing for now.
