I was at michaels the other day. A customer was purchasing ribbon and one of the ribbons was not on sale, so she decided not to take it. But she gave the clerk a hard time about it. Just as she left, she called the clerk a b!tch and then SPIT AT HER!!!!! I was floored!!!!! The clerk lunged at the customer and they started to fight, right in front of everyone!!! The customer's boyfriend came out of nowhere and hit the clerk with some pole or something. This poor girl was bleeding and everything. The customer took off and minutes later the police showed up. Sometime's the customer is not right!!!

That's exactly what I said!!!!! I'll pay for the effin ribbon out of my own pocket if you want it that bad, but there's no need to disrespect.
The clerk was a tough little cookie though. She held her own! Even after she got hit with the pole, she got a good couple of punches in.

I have to say, if you asked me 'guess where I saw fisticuffs between a customer and a cashier?' Michael's is probably the LAST place I would guess. So much for arts and crafts being relaxing....

I feel bad for the clerk. There a lot of people that are inconsiderate and disrespectful. I was laughing a bit though because as I read Divabride's post, I try to picture how this was happening.....and the chaos at the store when this was occurring. The things that people do...OMG.....

That's so ridiculous!
When I worked at Sears portrait I was as lenient as I could be with coupons and what you could and coldn't use, but you can only be SO lenient, you can'y give everyone everything for free. We were being tracked for sales and I could have gotten fired. Some girls just gave people whatever but I stood up to the customers and you would not BELIEVE the comments and THREATS people will make in front of their KIDS over 8 BUCKS
