I live in Bergen County (originally from Rockland and Westchester) so all of my vendors are from that area.
Photographer (Rockland) http://cinematicbydavidm.com He's expensive but his portfolio is amazing and you really do get a lot for the money.
DJ (Orange) http://djbriswatek.com/ Really really cheap. Very nice, knows a lot about music. Recognizes as people, not just a client.
Florist (Westchester) http://foreverinbloom.com Super nice guy, really understood our feel and what I wanted right away.
omg your photographer is great
And he is such a wonderful person too. We met him and booked him the first time we met with him because we were so blown away by his work, and then to meet him and see how nice he was we knew he was it!

Entertainment - Jason Craig Entertainment. I hired the Jason Craig Band but they have a ton of bands and djs at all prices. www.jasoncraig.com
Makeup Artist - Tami from MAC at Riverside. I can give you her contact info if you'd like a trial. I've worked with her for 5 years and she's fantastic.
I found most of these vendors on the knot so I would definitely check out other vendors and see what you like.
The Venetian is absolutely beautiful....that was the first place me and fh looked at, but unfortunately wasn't in our budget!!!! Lots of Luck!!

Thanks! Lots of luck to you too. The first place we actually looked at was Valley Regency which we love also. The only thing that was stopping us was that we've already been there for our friends weddings and wanted someplace different. BTW, who are you using for hair? I'm trying to find someone last minute because my hairstylist cancelled on me last week.

i actually don't have anyone lined up yet, but my girlfriend is getting married exactly one month before me and i'm getting my hair done at a place called dolce it's on valley brook ave in lyndhurst, nj...i heard the girls are really good there
