Re: How good are u @ hiding your feelings?
I don;t hide my feelings well at all ... I don;t have a good poker face! I wish I did, because if I don;t like you, you usually know within a second of me thinking it!

Re: How good are u @ hiding your feelings?
I have gotten very good at it, unfortunately.
If I have no way of tactfully distancing myself from someone I don't like, I usually pull away from them personally. Meaning I don't speak to them unless I have to and I never, EVER speak to them about anything regarding my personal life.

Not very good- when I'm angry, I yell when I'm sad, I pout when I'm hurt, I shut off

ETA: I am not trying to be mean to these people. Mostly I do this at work, because I have seen the negative effects of bringing too much of one's personal life to the office.

I'm horrible at it! My FH always tells me how my face doesn't lie how I really feel.

Re: How good are u @ hiding your feelings?
it depends on the situation. I think that if something is upsetting me, my facial expressions give it away. Also, recently at work, there is this girl who is saying stuff about me behind my back- and i've been giving her an attitude, and she always asks me if i'm upset about something or if i'm ok.....so I think i'm not very good at hiding my feelings.

If its a co-worker situation I just ignore them and only talk to them if its absolutely necessary for business.

My expressions give away my feelings but I can be fake as far as words.

AWFUL - My face gives me away every time !! Although I can be civil to people I do not like - just polite. - Especially if I have to work w/ them !

Eh....depends on the situation. Sometimes I can hide it very well, and then there are others where EVERYONE knows exactly what Im thinking and how I'm feeling.

Let's just say... I'll never win at poker.
When FH was finally settling the house with his ex I bit my tongue so many times I think I was hemorraging...
When I have to stick it to some one I usually come up with an insulting comment that is so cleverly worded (lots of SAT words) that it goes completely over their head and they have no idea what I just said to them
Either that or I have to avoid them or I'll explode.

Re: How good are u @ hiding your feelings?
I'm pretty good at it. I also learned a long time ago that I can 'act' my way into a feeling if I really want to. For instance, there's someone I really don't care for. The person is really over the top full of themselves and it's totally annoying. But the more I interact with them, the more sides of them I see and I can distance myself from the aspect of their personality that I don't like. To quote Elizabeth from Pride & Prejudice: '
'My knowing them better improved my opinion of them.'
