I'm interested as well.

I was scheduled for it over 3 yrs ago, but cancelled the surgery the week prior. I wish I could remember the surgeon's name, but I can't.

How does your DH/FH feel about it?

Mine convinced me to wait until after I have children, but I know he doesn't want me to do it at all. He just doesn't understand how difficult it is to have them so big. He thinks they're great.

Re: Breast Reduction

My husband thinks it's a good idea. He knows and understands the pain I'm in. He's ok with it luckily!

Re: Breast Reduction

I had the surgery 5 years ago this month. It was the best thing I ever did.

My surgeon is located in Rockland county but has and office in Manhattan that he goes to a few days a week.

Re: Breast Reduction

Those who have done it, can you tell us about possible side effects?
The one I'm afraid of most is when they say you lose sensitivity

Re: Breast Reduction

Honetly.. I don't care one bit about losing sensitivity.
I am in so much pain all the time.
My friend had hers done a few months ago ( she didnt like him enough to recomend him though) and she said that her boobs are SO sensitive now that the Wind blowing by gets her excited!
LOL
Guess it could go either way
I also know that most ppl are in some sort of pain for a few weeks after and can't do much for awhile but every person I have ever known that has had it done says ' I wish I would of done it sooner' OR ' it's the best thing I have ever done'

I don't care about sensitivity either...my are really insensitive!!
Seriously, I think they got so big, so fast that the nerves endings don't function right.
How's the recovery time? And the most important factor for me-were you able to get your insurance to cover the procedure since it was medically necessary? Most insurance companies (I believe) don't cover things that are considered cosmetic unless it's a medical necessity.
