I am currently living in MA, but my wedding is on LI and I grew up on LI. In a way, this site makes me feel connected to home. I fully intend to still post and be a part of this community after my wedding.

You shouldn't even give that FM a second thought!!! Who is this person to decide whether or not you belong here??? There are brides/newlyweds here from all over the country!! Besides, why give this person the satisfaction of even taking them seriously in the first place?
