NMR - Co Op Owners

HOw long after meeting with the board were you able to close? My fh and I did all the papers, just waiting on getting the finliazed mortagage papers then can meet with the board. I hear people saying it could be up to 2months, is that true???

it was a few weeks for us...I dont remember exactly..

We met with the Board on Oct. 25th and closed on Nov. 23rd. We could have closed sooner but the seller couldn't move in to their new house until Dec. So we waited because we were in no big rush!!

It can be a matter of days to a matter of weeks depending on you and the seller!

It really depends on the coop, sadly. Each board has their own rules and timeframes.

I am in the process of selling right now. I signed the contract Feb 5. My closing date was on or about March 30 (which gives 30 days). My buyers are meeting with the board on April 12 which means they have to close by April 30. I'm hoping this all will happen.

The process has been going on forever. The offer was accepted back in January.

I think it takes a long time to get the board application in because you need the committment letter and then the board has to set the date to meet you. After that I believe you are ready to close. They just have to arrange to get all the attorneys together.

Hey.. I just went through the whole coop process. FH and I just closed yesterday and are soo excited.

We handed in our packet of information beginning/middle of February and didn't get our interview until middle March.. From that day it took two and a half weeks to close.. My attorney and mortgage officer really expedited things for us though. Best of luck!!!

R&L is great cuz its inexpensive. i get my blow outs there cuz its around the corner and only 20$...never had anythign else. but its ALWAYS packed..so they have to be good.

nail place is ok. NIKITAS SUUUUUUUUUUUCKS. their gyros are sooo small

Ai passion(thai/sushi) is decent.

the bagels are the best but the line is always long
