Has anyone ever heard about this rule? My Church is implementing this rule but I have never seen or heard of this before?

yea unfortunitly a lot of churchs have different rules. My church allowed one but they didnt allow anything to be thrown when we walked out.

I've seen a bunch of girls mention this for their churchs -- it's because people tend to trip over the runners. You could always line the sides with petals (if they allow that) if you want to better-define the aisle.

My church, St. Matthews in Dix Hills doesn't allow it either. They said a few people have tripped.
