I don't think it'll look weird at all. Honestly, with all the problems bridesmaids can cause, you're probably doing the smart thing!

I didn't have bridesmaids at my wedding -my sister was my maid of honor, and that was it.
It was THE BEST decision I made -I saved money not having to buy bouquets and bridal party gifts, I saved my friends money not having to buy the dress and all that goes along with the gig. I saved time not having to do as many formal portraits -therefore got to my entire cocktail hour.... and most importantly I didn't hurt anyones feelings by leaving them out -I had too many friends and cousins that I couldn't have them all in it.

We didnt have any, as its not in our culture.. but both of our dads, and brothers got tuxes.. and honestlyi was really glad i didnt have to deal with the complications of BMs...

I originally wanted no bridesmaids but I somehow got caught up in the moment b/c everyone was telling me I had to have bridesmaids and got 4 bridesmaids. I had problems with one and downgraded to 3 bridesmaids. I wish I would have stuck to my guns. If you don't want a bridal party I say go for it! Less headaches!

I am only having my sister as my MOH and FH is having his best friend as BM. I didn't want to offend anyone by not including them and in the past I have always heard friends complain about how expensive it can get when you are in a wedding party. I just want everything to be as easy as possible.

We have a small bridal party. Us, Matron of Honor, Best man, flower girl. That's it. No stress.

As far as looks, not weird at all!! I think it makes it more intimate. I had a huge bridal party and although as I was reading the posts I was thinking, man that would have been really cool to not have the extra complications that come with having so many people, they really also added so many positive things to my wedding experience. Do whatever works for you!

i may not have any bridesmaids. if i do it will only be two, MAYBE three TOPS, but i am completely ok with not having any if i seems like it will get too complicated.
