how bad is it if i have NOTHING on top of my cake? i'm not a fan of flowers on cakes, and i don't want to spend any money on a cake topper ..... is it terrible if i just have a plain cake without anything on top?
if it is terrible, can i borrow your cake toppers? :-P

it won't be very decorated at all, most likely ... it'll be whatever the RH gives us (they didn't have too many good cake decoration options last i spoke to them)

I don't think we're having a cake topper either... I don't like flowers and I don't know of any cake toppers that scream 'US'...
I guess it'll depend on the cake we choose.

I've seen plenty of cakes that look great without cake toppers. It'll look fine and if that's what you like, go for it.

i wasnt going to have a topper until we got to the RH and the Maitrd told me our cake would definitely be able to hold the lenox topper my niece gave me... and it did...

I didnt have a cake topper. I actually hated the whole flowers on a cake too and didnt want to spend the money on anything extra (same situation as u haha) so I just put on the top tier on the side these monogram letter I won at TWOTY - looked really cute! so no, its not terrible at all
