No candy

I can't believe my parents didn't buy any Halloween candy!!!

The doorbell rang and it was this cute little boy dressed as Spiderman and the only thing I had to give him was a granola bar!

Now everyone in the neighborhood is going to think I'm the biggest dork on the block!

me to i stop at like age 15 b/c my older brothers and sister didnt go anymore so i didnt want to go by myself

I live in a small apartment building (6 floors, 4 apts per floor) and you have to be buzzed in. I don't think we will have any trick or treaters....

if we did I'd have to give them loose mike n' ike or skittles (im sure mom would LOVE that!), a few random candy bars we have in a candy dish, or some lindt truffles

FH is waiting for halloween to be over so he can buy loads of candy 1/2 price... for himself

Up until last year i used to take my sister and eat half of her candy. This year she says she is to old and i can't convince her to go. lol

i live in a building too... and we havent had trick or treaters in many yrs!!!! i rem when i used to go out, we'd make sure to hit up the buildings.... lots of candy with hardly any work ... guess kids dont do that anymore!

So...I ran to the grocery store and bought a few bags of candy (Waldbaum's had some that were 2/$5).

When I pulled up in front of my house there were like 7 kids just leaving the front door and good thing I had the candy in my trunk -- I went through 2 bags with them.

I figured...COOL...no leftover candy!

but then I noticed that most of the groups of kids would walk past our house and go to everyone else.

Turns out that in the ten years or so that I haven't been living with mom and dad, she hasn't been opening the door for trick or treaters. So my mom has been the mean old lady of the neighborhood!!!

The things you learn when you move back home with your parents. LOL

Oh NO!!! You need candy!
We live on a busy street and get little to no trick or treaters..I hate it...I love when they come to the door!

lol at my school i was asking all my kids can i go with you..and go trick or treating and they told me IM WAY TOOO OLD...they called me an OLDY LADY! HOW RUDE

My school kids are starting to feel like they're too old to trick or treat. I tell them all GO AS LONG AS PEOPLE WILL OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU! You never get that time of your life back!

Meanwhile, I must have had over 100 kids come already! I had to have FH go out for more candy!
