Hello All: I was wondering if any of you knew any halls that do not have that awful high traffic carpet. I am not a fan of it and would like not to hold my wedding in a hall like this. So, please if you do know of one-- please post.

Leonards - most rooms have no carpet- either beautiful hardwood floors or full marble floors. thats the only place i can think of with no carpets...

I second Jericho Terrace. They do not have any carpeting in their rooms just marble.

I remember when we went to look at Milleridge the entire ballroom was hard wood floors and I am think the cocktail hour area as well. There may have been carpet in one area of the CH area if I remember correctly.

The Royalton at the Roslyn Country Club is all hardwood floors.

Douglaston Manor was renovated in the beginning of this year, and all the carpeting they used to have was replaced.....the entire hall has beautiful tile floors now.

the carltun carlyle on the green bourne mansion russos on the bay i think from pictures north ritz club looks to be hard wood floors i THINK...
I also am not a fan of carpet.....

The Bourne Mansion is beautiful, and historic, I don't think there's any carpets on the premises
