i have a little question--If anyone is having a 'no kid' policy-- how did you all put the wording in the invitation for NO CHILDREN? I have seen it before but i dont remember what exactly the wording was--

Re: no children at the wedding....
Mr and Mrs __ or Mr. and guest implies no kids. I have 2 children. I just recd an invite for FH and myself for my cousins sweet 16. I knew that meant my kids weren't invited. If you add-family- that means kids. Also, if you get the response back with more than the 1 or 2 people that were invited, it is not tacky to call and let them know space is limited and you were not having children. Most people know weddings are costly and kids are not usually invited. It is more common for them to not be invited. It only is really questionable if they are in the bridal party imo

Is it really tacky to put __ attending? If you don't put numbers, how do you know if people invited with a guest will bring a guest or not?
