Hey girls, I am just starting to look at different options for our HM. I really don't know where to start since we've both never been to any exotic place. We definitely want a relaxing HM on the ocean somewhere. Any good ideas of places that are warm in Dec/January?? (other than Hawaii) ANy help would be appreciated!!! Thanks!

Re: No clue where to start
In Dec/Jan most of the Caribbean would be good, b/c its not hurricane season. We went to ARuba in early dec. for our HM and loved it. (However, it is very Americanized and not 'exotic' if you are looking for that).
Do you want all-inclusive (i.e. you pay one price before you leave for all food, drinks, etc)? Or would you rather go to a traditional hotel and go out to eat?
A good site is tripadvisor.com or frommers.com
Also, an experienced travel agent may be able to help you
ETA: If you can afford it, Tahiti/Bora Bora looks amazing!

Maybe one of the Sandals or SEcrets resorts? I think they are both adults and couples only....

Re: No clue where to start
There are the Sandles and Beaches resorts all over the Caribbean if you want something exclusive. We were in the same boat as you and after reading posts and taking a book out of the Library on the best honeymoon resorts and vacation spots, we've narrowed it down to the Bahamas. I can swim with Dolphins!!!

Aruba( Hyatt, Radisson, or Marriott) St. Marteaan St. Barts St. Lucia (Sandals) A eastern or Soutern Caribbean cruise. The best would be if you flew to Puerto Rico and took a cruise from there. That goes to the best ports.
