No flowergirl....

No flowergirl....

Ok...so I won't be having a flower girl .. just b/c we dont' have anyone in that age range that we are close with. I still want to have rose petals on the aisle runner. So how do we do this.... Does someone just put them on there before the ceremony starts???

Thats what I was assuming but I have actually never seen a wedding without a flowergirl so I am unsure...

True... I never thought about that. I was thinkign I had to assign someone to do that too... YIKES!! There are so many little things to do!!!

my florist is going to do it for me. If you are getting married in a Church make sure it is ok b/c some do not allow it.

1) You can have a close friend of yours that isnt participating in the wedding do it.

we didn't have a flower girl either, but our church doesn't allow flower petals to be thrown or placed on the aisle at all. but, you can definitely ask your florist to do this or whoever is putting down your aisle runner, they might be able to do it too.

I am getting married at my RH.... hopefully outside. The petals on the aisle runner are pretty much my only decorations for the ceremony. I may get or make bows to hang on the end of each row but that is about it. I guess I should talk to the RH as they are the ones providing the aisle runner or ask my florist about this.

I'm not having one either...either our florist, or I'll designate a family mbr to do it..as the bridal party will walk down the side aisles...so I will be the 1st to walk down the center aisle.

Talk to your florist, when they come and set up your church flowers they can put them down-just remember that your aisle runner will have to be already laid out and the aisle will have to be tied off so your guests do not walk on it
