I feel like I've seen this stated in a lot of bride's reviews on their dresses. They seemed to have purchased them at RK Bridal and then took part in a no frills program to get it for less it seems. I'm sorry if I'm just not being smart here, but can someone explain to me exactly what that is?
TIA!

Re: No Frills RK Bridal?
Basically they order the dresses for you. Then I believe you can pick them up or pay extra for shipping. You cannot try on the dresses there or have them altered there.

From RK's website...
The NO FRILLS program works as follows:
You select, and are responsible for the dress style, the color, and the size using the measuring chart. By Choosing the NO FRILLS program you are receiving a discounted price on the dress. There are No Alterations or Trying-On in the store. For Bridesmaids the minimum order is 2 dresses per style on one order form. Individual dresses can be ordered and paid for separately however there is a $10 service charge. For questions on measuring see our website.

yup i went to rk we picked a dress we all liked...got measured outside of rk bridal and then placed the order by fax...when you pick up the dresses you cant try them on you have to take them as they are and get alterations done somewhere else

Lol I don't know I didn't know much about it but I guess if it's that much of a price break and you know a good seamstress for a good price it can be more cost efficient I'd think.

Re: No Frills RK Bridal?
their alterations dept. has mixed reviews, but they have a lot in stock. I did this, it worked out well. My dress(the one for Cali) was about a third off, and I took it to cititailor.

why wouldn't they, i dont get the question?
my girls got their dresses at rk bridal through their no frills program. They paid about $80 less than retail price and moh paid $100 less. We even had it delivered to us so nobody had to go back to go pick it up and then they just brought the dresses to an alteration place by them to have alterations done.

NO not at all, we tried on about 12 dresses. You CAN try on the dresses there when you are searching for a bm dress. YOu just dont try it on there once the dress arrives at the store, but you dont even have to have it delivered to the store. We had it delivered to a friends house and i picked them up and dropped them off to the girls.
