Did anyone NOT have a hair trial? The problem I'm having is that we are on a VERY tight budget, I don't even know if I can afford to get my hair done the day of the wedding, much less go to trials with several sylists. It's a serious dilemma.... any thoughts?

Re: No hair trial?
If money is an issue I am sure you will look beautiful on your wedding day no matter what. I was a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding last year and obviously not having a trial and my hair came out great. It's your day and you will look great!!

If you are not picky about the exact style on the day of but you know generally what you want (i.e. you are open to the stylist interpretation of the style you want) and you have either worked with the stylist or know them by reputation I would say it is not necessary. I've been in two weddings where I did not know the stylist at all and just gave them a general idea of how I wanted my hair done and both times it came out great.

I had the same exact question! I am almost 100% sure I will be booking a particular makeup and hair artist but I just dont have the money to shell out now. I decided to just have a trial with the ones I know I am def going to like and book them. HTH

Exactly! I've always loved my hair when I was a BM and I never went for trials either.

I think I read in PrincessConsuela's review that she didn't go for a trial; and she looked amazing in her wedding pics!

If you have a stylist in mind that you're going to book, it's definitely worth asking if she would mind giving you a free consultation after you book her. If you already book her, she already knows she's getting your business and might be more willing to give you a free consultation if not a full trial.

I'm sure it will be fine. Especially if you pick a more simply style no one can screw up. The other thing you could do is schedule your hair very early the day of the wedding just in case you don't like it so you have time to work with your person to fix it and come up with a look you do like. I wouldn't stress about not having a trial
