After really hashing it out with our parents. Our total number of guests has grown to about 140 (thats 60 people over what we have already paid) and we can't cut it down anymore. I practically don't have any family going! it's so sad. But that means we have another 12000 to pay (thats the guests + the remaining balances owed to vendors) So we won't be able to afford a honeymoon. Oh well. I wish I could just elope and put all of this behind me. FH and I had a big argument and I said, 'this makes me not want to get married, it shouldn't be this hard' and he got upset with me...

So sorry...it is so stressful. Maybe you can do a quick minimoon someplace local after the wedding.

Can you maybe go on your HM after the wedding? Maybe use some of the money you'll be getting from your guests? Or how about a mini moon?

Im not going on a HM either b/c we cant afford it too. It does upset me but what can I do? So, we are going on a minimoon after the wedding and then we're gonna go on a HM when we can afford it!!

We aren't going on a hm either and at this point I doubt we will ever go with bills and having to pay a deposit for an apartment makes me sad because I need a vacation after 2 long years of planning but what can we do. :sigh:

I def agree! We have so many bills and as shortly before we get married we're going to start paying catholic school tuition for my son whose going into kindergarten...sigh

We are not going on one either. Don't be sad. You can take a vacation at any time when you can afford it. I don't know how people do it after paying for the wedding. I'd rather wait until we can afford to do something amazing like go to Europe or Ireland or Germany! We just bought a home and should be closing right after the wedding so we will honeymoon there lol

We are not doing a honeymoon until after the new year. One reason is FH just started a new job plus we will not have the funds after the wedding (we are paying for everything + other expenses)
I would definately plan something after your next tax return or for your 1 year anni

you can always go on a 'mini-moon' away for a weekend to Atlantic City or somewhere close if u wanna do something... Im not too concerned with my HM at all, I could care less where we go lol it's the last thing I am gonna work on.

My honeymoon is 6 months BEFORE the wedding. We had the trip planned and paid for before we decided to get married.
But seriously, two weeks in Bali is really expensive. You'll go another time.
