those of you not using an inner envelope, how are you indicating number of invited guests...on the outer?
say i want to invite a friend with guest and his son, how and where would i indicate this?
Mr. Friend LastName and Guest Kid Lastname 123 Main Street City, Town, State 12345

I think thats looks good..Since you don't have an inner you really don't have any other way to do it

i was thinking of adding some type of wrap around the invite where i could place the names, but i think that would be too much of a PITA and i'm running out of time...

I have the same concern… I plan on doing something like this for the RSVP's (but perhaps worded differently):
___ accept ___ decline ___ number of persons

When most people write the name on the M ________ Line, I would think people write the names of whose coming (if they fill that in at all!! You could also have the line on the response saying
Number of Persons ___
ETA: Some people may put the # if they Accept...

yeah, i made my dad the guinea pig for our potential RSVP's...he checked yes and put down a number...didn't know what to do with the line so he left it blank...
i guess that's what females are for!

i don't know, i guess you'll have to wait and see... those who do not clearly state who is planning on showing up i would perhaps call to verify? i don't know, it's quite the pickle...
