No kids?????
Did anyone opt to NOT have a flower girl/ringbearer or any kids in their wedding? If so, why and how did it or do you think it will work out?

I love my friends children to death, but I never even considered having any children in my wedding. I feel like it may be a burden for their parents to then have to worry about the kids all night.
We didnt' have any kids in our wedding. We don't really have any nieces or nephews or little ones that we are close too -- so we didn't have them. It was fine and no screaming kiddies to worry about :-)
I am having a ringbearer (it is my nephew). If I didn't have a nephew, I would not have any children in the wedding. I think it is cute to have the little ones walk down the aisle. But if you are not close with any children, I think it loses its meaning to have 'random' children walk down the aisle.
Good Luck.
I am having both, but only because I have a niece and two nephew. I wanted them to be a part of our wedding. But there is nothing wrong with not wanting children at your ceremony or reception. The choice is totally yours to make.
We're both going to be 30 at our wedding in two months, and we both come from family's that are big - meaning we have several nieces and nephews, in addition to numerous friends who have children we might ask. However, to spare any hard feelings by asking one nephew and not the other, etc., we decided to skip the youngin's altogether. The best man will carry the rings with him.
I'm thinking about not having any RB or FG either. It seems it could be more of a hassle than I need. Only thing is, I really want flower petals dropped before I walk down the aisle. What do you think?
All you need to get married is you, the pastor and your FI. BM, RB, FG, makes for nice picture but it does not change your wedding either way. We are not having any children at our wedding.
The decision is yours make
Happy planning
We decided not to have any kids in the bridal party or at the wedding at all. This decision did not and probably will not go over well with everyone but we are trying to keep the wedding small and decided this was what we wanted to do. In the end you need to decide if you want them involved in your wedding or not. I have been in a few weddings where their where children and it has gone fine or horribly bad. Depends on the kids, their ages etc....
My FH and I decided not to have kids in our wedding. Although they are cute and all, I didn't want the added worry. I guess it would depend on the ages too, maybe if the kids in our family were between 7-9 or something, we might have considered it, but since the kids are under 4, I just didn't want to worry about their behavior on my special day.
