how does everyone know that there are no kids? Is this usually communicated by word of mouth?

Re: No Kids
I'm sorry but I am dealing with knuckle heads! The only children I will be having there are those who are in the bridal party.
So I am actually including a lil note from FH and I saying hello and blah blah blah...and then I'm going to put that no children will be allowed to the wedding or the reception. I will have security and if someone is trying to bring their child they will get turned away. I do not want to hear their child cry while I'm trying to say I DO!

Re: No Kids
if u don't put them on the invitation, then people should know. ie: instead of putting 'The Smith's' or 'Mr.&Mrs. and family' , you just put 'Mr. and Mrs.' there shouldn't be any confusions and if their is, just explain it nicely

Re: No Kids
We just told my parents and FH's parents that we weren't inviting kids under 13.. so if they have any on their list to please be advised that they will not be invited.... we said that in the nicest way of course haha
We are also going to try and hire a babysitter so that if people are traveling and want to bring their kids with them there will be a place that the kids can go while their parents are at the wedding..
