I had the same question last year... If its a catholic church, they are still going to ask for two readers, or the priest can read for you :)

You can have 2 readers and someone to do the Prayer of the Faithful.

Last question, I think!
Can anyone read, or are there any requirements by the church?

Re: No mass, do I still need readers?
We're having my godmother, his godfather, and a friend of ours do the prayer... I would say this is a good chance to include ppl you would like to incorporate in your wedding somehow that aren't already, instead of ppl who already are like the bp

Fh s chosing 2 ffriends of his, he had to do the readings at both their weddings, I think he should have his aunt do one of the readings.

Re: No mass, do I still need readers?
im not getting married in a church but we are still having 2 readers. I think if you want to have readers you should do it! its your ceremony and it should be exactly what you want. I mean it is the most important part of the whole wedding experience.
