No More State Clothing Sales Tax - Read this

Could it be - no more State Sales Tax on Clothing under 110! I hope it lasts This will save my men some $$$ when they buy their suit pants

I'm so mad! I bought a bunch of stuff on Saturday and they charged me state and county tax. I didn't find out until yesterday when I was at RK Bridal what happened.

FYI though, a petticoat does not count as clothing (someone was buying one while I was there).

Remember though, its NYS tax, you will still be charged a county tax.

Yeah but in NYC there is NO sales tax on clothing under $110 becasue they dropped their city tax as well.

So I can shop tax free!!!!!

this was a surprise to me...FH came home w/sneakers for my son and I noticed the sale tax was off...
awesome! - I do hope they will totally eliminate it again though.
