No Pictures at Church

Original post by JuneBride14

so i was just reading over the paperwork from the church and it says that pictures (from guests and professional) are prohibited in the church. pictures can only be taken during the processional and recessional. is this common?? i feel like i would want pictures of our first kiss and lighting the candle, etc. this might be a deal breaker for me but i wanted to first check and see if this is how all/most churches are

wow thats crazy.. My priest actually lets hte photographer on hte back of the altar to get head on shots.. He said they used to not, but he did a wedding service at the Vatican with the Pope, and The Pope let the photographers anywhere. He asked the pope about it and he told my priest that its the most important day of these peoples lives... they should be able to remember it.. SO he took it home, and pretty much lets the photog do whatever he wants.
