You don't need a rehearsal. We didn't have one. You;ve been to weddings, right? You know the drill. Plus, you'll have the maitre D there to direct everyone,. They do this all the time. All you need to know is to walk & smile & keep your head up.

i had a friend who was a BM in a wedding at JT and she said they had the rehearsal right b4. I was/ am a little concerned. i am having someone singing for me to come down the aisle and i so wanted to get the timing down i left a message with my BM at JT to ask a couple questions about the rehearsal but i'm still waiting for a call back. guess i'm going to have to pay them a visit!

i dont want to do mine the day of - we'll be busy taking pictures before the ceremony....even though we will have already seen eachother i dont want to do a practice run the day of - it just seems weird to me i was hoping the RH would let us do a quick run through the wed before - we'll only be there for 30 minutes tops anway - i dont see what the big deal is.....im paying them thousands of dollars for gods sake

We didn't have one and it was fine.

I went over everything with the RH during final meetings. A few days before, I e-mailed copies of the program out to the bridal party and our two friends who did the readings in case anyone had a question.

On the day of the weddings, the bridal attendant and Maitre D handled everything.

Our ceremony is at the RH and we will not be having a rehersal either, but we are allowed at the RH 2 hours before the ceremony so I guess we will do a run thru then.

I got married at Flowerfields and had a rehearsal! How come you're not?

At my friends wedding she didn't have a rehearsal and everything worked out fine. It was a little weird but it came out looking fine.

RH wouldn't allow us to make arrangements for Rehearsal because they anticipated booking the room. As it is we are already paying an additional 500$ for the ceremony.

We will have a short time in the morning, but we have a 12pm wedding and we need to have some photos taken before the ceremony to preserve time.

I live in NJ, FH lives in Queens and the only relative in FMIL who is a cranky woman who said no way to having rehearsal at her house.

We are having RD at a restauant but there is no private room.

RD is being paid for byn FMIL.

MrsK2008...as you know I'm thinking of haveing my ceremony there. As Future Mulligan suggested I would ask if they can do the rehearsal on a Mon. or Tues. I'm sure they have nothing going on those days.

A friend of mine who had her Wedding at Crescent Beach Club, wasn't able to rehearse there and rehearsed an hour before the wedding. Evryething came out flawless......

when it gets closer to our date that is what im going to do - ask if they can let us rehearse the wed before.....i dont see why they would say no if they don't have any parties booked....

if we cant i'll either do it at the restaurant and invite our officiant or do it the day of the wedding.....i just know our parents were looking foward to a rehearsal and dinner

Re: No rehearsal for me........Help!?!?!?

I got married at Crest Hollow and the only time they could schedule a rehearsal was 11 days before the wedding. DH and I, as well as a lot of our family members and bridal party were out of town, so it was out of the question. Even if we had been in the area, everyone would have forgotten it anyway. Plus, our officiant doesn't do rehearsals, so the point was moot.

We did a run through right before the ceremony. Although things ran smoothly, there were some things the maitre d' directed me to do, that if I had even one night (as if an actual rehearsal had occurred), I wouldn't have done. The main thing was that my father was supposed to walk me halfway down the aisle, then DH was supposed walk me the rest of the way. I didn't particularly care for the handoff but didn't protest as I should have.

Like I said, things ran smoothly but I wish I could have changed that detail. The staff should guide you through the process so it runs fine, but keep on your toes if you imagine the ceremony to unfold in a certain way.

ETA--clarification.
