I'm inviting everyone over 18 w/a guest.
Me too, I feel like if you are an adult you can make the decision on your own

Re: No Ring NO Bring
We are inviting everyone 21 and over with a guest. But in our case pretty much most of both mine and FH's friends and family are married, engaged, or seriously dating someone. So it isn't really a big deal for us to let the few remaining single people decide if they want to bring a date or not. However, I still have cousins who are under 21 who have bf/gf's and I am not inviting them with guests.

I have, and I havent gotten any pushback yet. If I do, I might consider letting them bring a guest... at this point its just easier than arguing.

well thats good. FH brought up a good point too, we're doing an after party, so if they want their guest to tag along after the wedding, the more the merrier!

Re: No Ring NO Bring
We are doing if you are 21 and older we put and Guest. We did this but our 21 and older guests who are not in a relationship I made sure they know how I feel about them brining random people. Well my friends know not to. FH his friends don't so I had to let them know I will not have some 'random chick' at my wedding. Even though he said not to say anything I am not spending all this money on someone I don't know. I think it rude to bring a date just to bring a date unless you are going to cover their plate.

Re: No Ring NO Bring
no ring no bring i love it the cousins that are 18 or 19 i didnt not invite w/ guest (most of them are single) and they would understand others that were over 21 which are a handful in my case I put and guest I could use the extra people if anything but in your case I understand why you would have to do that

We're pretty much inviting everyone with a guest...but many will not choose to bring just anyone.

it is perfectly okay to follow this rule. People should understand the situation- but not everyone will and you may have people respond with a guest anyway.

Re: No Ring NO Bring
everyone was invited with a guest to our wedding---like another poster said--i just thought of it from a guest POV in not wanting someone to have to come alone to a wedding. but i know that everyone is different.
just about all our single guests did not bring a guest---but they appreciated that we let them have the option, so it wound up working out for us.
